Meet Aman

Aman Singh is a licensed clinical social worker with nearly two decades of experience across multiple levels of substance use disorder treatment. She has served as a counselor at Hazelden Betty Ford in Naples, Florida, since 2018, providing evidence‑based care grounded in clinical expertise and compassion.

Aman holds dual BA/BS degrees in psychology and sociology from Wayne State University and earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California, where she specialized in mental health and military social work. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Social Work at Tulane University.

Before joining Hazelden Betty Ford, Aman worked across the continuum of substance use disorder services and facilitated a long‑running complex trauma grief group at Valerie’s House, a nonprofit supporting children and families experiencing loss. She also served as an adjunct professor at Florida Gulf Coast University, teaching chemical dependency courses and supervising BSW and MSW students. Her experience further includes probation counseling for anger management and domestic violence, along with community‑based work supporting individuals experiencing homelessness and severe poverty.

Aman has completed more than 2,000 hours of specialized clinical training and is known for integrating creativity, humor, and mindfulness into her therapeutic approach. Outside of her professional work, she has fostered more than 350 pugs, spent over a decade storm‑chasing in Tornado Alley, and will celebrate 20 years of sobriety in March 2026.
