Meet Acadia

Acadia Bender spent ten years in public education as both a teacher and assistant principal. She joined Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation as a Program Manager in 2019. In her role as Senior Manager of Training she works in collaboration with the Clinical, Prevention, and Medical training teams to create a cohesive and standardized process for quality training development, delivery, evaluation and revision.

Acadia has a Bachelor's of Science in History from Portland State University, a Master of Arts in Education from The College of Willian & Mary, and Master of Science in Education in Supervision & Administration from Shenandoah University.
